Kantha Coats

We have sourced the most fabulous Kantha coats over the past few weeks. What is Kantha and what makes it so special? Well Kantha is a traditional stitch technique used in India. Usually giving a quilted effect as the stitch runs throughout the whole garment font and back. 

Kantha stitch is done by hand with very skilled workers in India. Slow and highly skilled manufacturing. Our Kantha coats are all one of a kind garments. The fabrics are hand picked by us from antique Indian wall hanging prints. These fabrics are then repurposed and panelled together. Giving each garment a vibrant and unique feel. The trims are also dead-stock trims. These garments are so unique and like a work of art! 

The coats are mid weight and perfect layered in Winter then worn In Spring and Autumn too. Buying one of these special coats is an investment purchase that you will treasure for life and not see anyone else wearing!
